We’re introducing ipUSD and IP Vault. ipUSD is a dollar stablecoin on Soneium. IP Vault gives eligible users exposure to a $549 million royalties fund managed by Partners Group and tokenized by Asseto. Both open on October 28, 2026, in the morning UTC.
IP Vault, which will provide an estimated yield of 7-9% per annum, holds The Weeknd’s back catalogue, music from other notable artists. Discovery’s Television library, and more than 100,000 other royalty streams across entertainment and beyond, including pharmaceuticals, brands and energy transition. Music IP is the largest part. IP Vault brings this royalties opportunity to individual users on Soneium.
Who's behind it
Soneium brings the fund onchain through IP Vault. Partners Group, a global private markets firm with $186 billion under management, manages the fund and selects every royalty in it. Asseto provides the tokenization infrastructure that connects the fund to Soneium.
ipUSD
ipUSD is the asset you use to enter and exit IP Vault. Get ipUSD 1:1 with Startale USD (USDSC) or USDC.e, and convert back to either at any time, without waiting. ipUSD is backed by Startale USD reserves and can be used across Soneium. Deposit it into the IP Vault to start earning royalty returns.
ipUSD will be available on the Startale App from launch, letting users swap between USDSC, Soneium’s native stablecoin, and ipUSD directly within the app. This integration offers a seamless way for users to access ipUSD and participate in Soneium’s onchain entertainment ecosystem.
IP Vault
ipUSD is the currency that will be used to enter and exit IP Vault. IP Vault holds the royalties fund alongside a reserve of ipUSD to support withdrawals. When you deposit, you receive IP Vault shares. Each share is your stake in the whole vault, so one deposit gives you a slice of every royalty stream the fund holds. Each share has a Share Value, updated once a month from the fund’s report. Your share count stays the same; what changes is the Share Value, which moves with the fund’s performance.

Deposit into the IP Vault. Deposits are processed in rounds, in the order they arrive. Until your deposit settles, it remains in the queue.

Claim your IP Vault shares once your Round settles into the fund. The first settlement is scheduled for November 2, 2026.
Note: The fund takes new money once a month, so deposits are grouped into monthly rounds, and each round can settle a set total. Your deposit stays as ipUSD until it settles. If yours is the one that pushes a round over its capacity, only the part that fits settles in that round, and the rest stays at the front of the line for the next round.
Withdrawals
IP Vault offers Standard Withdrawal and Instant Withdrawal. Availability and timing depend on liquidity and the fund’s settlement process.

What are IP Vault shares?

They represent a user’s position in IP Vault. Wallets and block explorers may display the share token as sIPUSD. The smart contracts have been audited by PeckShield.

Can I sell my shares instead of withdrawing?

Soneium Portal will not provide a market for IP Vault shares at launch. To exit, use Standard Withdrawal or Instant Withdrawal.

Can I transfer my IP Vault shares?

Yes. You can send IP Vault shares to another wallet.

What is the minimum deposit?

The minimum deposit is 100 ipUSD.

What if my deposit doesn’t fully fit in a Round?

The part that fits settles in that Round and you receive shares for it. The rest stays at the front of the queue for the next Round automatically.

Is my ipUSD at risk after I deposit?

Once a deposit settles into IP Vault and is converted into shares, its value is subject to changes in the Share Value. Before settlement, the deposit remains ipUSD and can be cancelled at any time before settlement.
