You've pulled your own communities onchain. We want to give that work more weight, so today we're opening the Soneium Ambassador Program.
It's for community members who want to take a bigger role in helping people find Soneium, get started, and stick around.
Building on the Soneian Community Program
For more than a year, the Soneian Community Program has been one of the main ways people have entered the Soneium ecosystem. Scouts, Guardians, and creators have helped build a real base of early participation, and many of you reading this came up through it.
The Ambassador Program is what comes next. Soneium Community Program is where many people first join the community. The Ambassador Program is for people ready to go further: helping explain Soneium to new audiences, leading in their own region, and helping more users take real steps onchain rather than just hear about it.
If you've been active through the Soneium Community Program this past year, we built this with you in mind. We'd love for you to apply.
Why now
We are entering a new phase. Soneium is growing rapidly, and with it comes a massive influx of mainstream creators, fans, and builders who are entirely new to Web3. They don't just need technical documentation, they need a community that speaks plain language, welcomes their passion, and helps them take their very first steps onchain. The Ambassador Program coordinates this effort globally.
Right now that help is scattered and informal. The Ambassador Program gives it a home, a recognized role, closer access to team updates and resources, and the backing to make a real dent in your community. As more users and experiences enter the ecosystem, the community will help carry it.
Who we're looking for
People who can explain what Soneium is building and make it easier for others to get involved.
A big following isn't the point. We care far more about whether your contributions are good, whether you're reliable, how you communicate, and how well you look after the people around you.
Past and present Soneium Community Program participants are strongly encouraged to apply. If you've already shown up for this community, we want to hear from you.
While this is a global call to action, we are placing a strategic focus on key regions driving the intersection of technology, culture, and entertainment, specifically the United States, Japan, Korea, and China. Wherever you are based, if you understand your local community and want to lead, we want to hear from you.
What Ambassadors do
The common thread is helping people take a real step with Soneium, not just learn the name. Depending on your strengths, that might mean:
- Onboarding new users and walking them through their first onchain moves
- Holding down the community: answering questions, welcoming newcomers, keeping things healthy
- Hosting meetups (online and offline) and growing Soneium where you live
- Helping users find their way around the apps building on Soneium
- Supporting the builders shipping on Soneium
You won't do all of it. Most Ambassadors lean into one or two of these and go deep.
What you get
A recognized voice within the Soneium community. Ambassadors may receive:
- Recognition across Soneium channels and real visibility for the work you do
- Access to program updates, resources, and team touchpoints
- Support for approved community activations, events, and content
- Soneium merch, swag, or other community rewards when available
- Opportunities to grow into larger community roles over time
How it works
You apply. We review each application based on your background, your history with Soneium, your community experience, where you're based, your availability, and overall fit.
Some applicants may receive a short follow-up so we can understand how they would approach a first Soneium activation and the kind of audience they can realistically reach.
Submitting an application does not guarantee selection, but it helps us see who may be ready to take the next step. Ambassador status is earned over time through contribution, consistency, and community trust. That is what makes it meaningful.
