Following a strong debut in Season 01 — with over 43MN+ transactions on Soneium and 85K+ Score participants — Season 02 picks up the momentum with new featured projects, fresh scoring opportunities, and a renewed push for onchain engagement across the Soneium ecosystem.
Whether you’re farming your first Bonus points or aiming to collect every seasonal badge, the mission remains the same: every action counts.
If you reached the score threshold in Season 1, your NFT badge will be available to mint in a few days after the season officially ends.
Recap: Season 01 Highlights
Season 01 saw the Soneium community show up across every layer of the ecosystem — from gaming and NFTs to DeFi and social apps.
If you interacted with the Soneium ecosystem, your actions likely contributed to your Score. If not, don’t worry — you can still continue with Season 02.
Pro tip: Bonus Score projects will be highlighted throughout the season. Complete them all to maximize your Score. Consistency is the alpha.
What’s New in Season 02
Season 02 introduces a new set of challenges, improved Quest flows, and deeper integrations with protocols across the Soneium ecosystem.
Here’s what to expect:
- New Bonus Quests from upcoming Aave, Kyo and Lootcoin.
- Fresh project activations, rotating throughout the month
- Updated scoring mechanics and optimizations to reward sustained participation
- Soneium Score Community Quest Season 2 is live now → Complete the tasks to boost your Score
- Tasks:
- Aave: A trusted liquidity protocol enabling decentralized lending and borrowing. Users can supply assets.
- Kyo: Innovative on-chain liquidity strategies via tools like the Pool Wizard. Users can participate in the pools.
- Lootcoin: Lootcoin reimagines classic Bitcoin mining as an RPG adventure where you collect characters, loot gear, upgrade, and ultimately adventure to mint more LOOT.
- All the bonus projects will be featured throughout the Soneium Score Season. Ensure you complete them all.
As always, your Score is calculated from four categories:
- Activity: transaction volume, streaks, and unique active days
- Liquidity: your contribution to TVL across integrated protocols
- NFTs: holdings of eligible ecosystem collections
- Bonus: special actions tied to featured projects (refreshed monthly)
Update in Season 02: To make scoring fairer and easier to reach 80 points, the NFT category will now be split into two:
- Sony NFT Score
- Ecosystem NFT Score This refinement gives users more flexibility while keeping the system balanced. The eligible NFT collections for the Ecosystem NFT Score will be announced shortly.
SBT Badges & Score Milestones
If you reached 80 points or more last season, you should now be able to claim your SBT badge on Soneium Score. These badges are non-transferable and permanently tied to your address — serving as both proof of contribution and an onchain identity marker for your participation in the earliest stages of Soneium.
Each season brings a new badge design and fresh bragging rights.
