Introducing ipUSD and IP Vault: Real World Royalties, Now Accessible on Soneium
Soneium is built for Onchain Entertainment, bringing the intellectual property behind music, gaming, anime, film, collectibles and fan creations onchain. We’re starting with one of the most established ways intellectual property generates revenue: royalties. We’re introducing ipUSD and IP Vault . ipUSD is a dollar stablecoin on Soneium. IP Vault gives eligible users exposure to a $549 million royalties fund managed by Partners Group and tokenized by Asseto . Both open on October 28, 2026, in the morning UTC. IP Vault, which will provide an estimated yield of 7-9% per annum, holds The Weeknd’s back catalogue , music from other notable artists. Discovery’s Television library, and more than 100,000 other royalty streams across entertainment and beyond, including pharmaceuticals, brands and energy transition. Music IP is the largest part. IP Vault brings this royalties opportunity to individual users on Soneium. Who's behind it Soneium brings the fund onchain through IP Vault. Partners Group, a global private markets firm with $186 billion under management, manages the fund and selects every royalty in it. Asseto provides the tokenization infrastructure that connects the fund to Soneium. ipUSD ipUSD is the asset you use to enter and exit IP Vault. Get ipUSD 1:1 with Startale USD (USDSC) or USDC.e, and convert back to either at any time, without waiting. ipUSD is backed by Startale USD reserves and can be used across Soneium. Deposit it into the IP Vault to start earning royalty returns. ipUSD will be available on the Startale App from launch, letting users swap between USDSC, Soneium’s native stablecoin, and ipUSD directly within the app. This integration offers a seamless way for users to access ipUSD and participate in Soneium’s onchain entertainment ecosystem. IP Vault ipUSD is the currency that will be used to enter and exit IP Vault. IP Vault holds the royalties fund alongside a reserve of ipUSD to support withdrawals. When you deposit, you receive IP Vault shares. Each share is your stake in the whole vault, so one deposit gives you a slice of every royalty stream the fund holds. Each share has a Share Value, updated once a month from the fund’s report. Your share count stays the same; what changes is the Share Value, which moves with the fund’s performance. How it works Get ipUSD on Startale App Deposit into the IP Vault . Deposits are processed in rounds, in the order they arrive. Until your deposit settles, it remains in the queue. Claim your IP Vault shares once your Round settles into the fund. The first settlement is scheduled for November 2, 2026. Note: The fund takes new money once a month, so deposits are grouped into monthly rounds, and each round can settle a set total . Your deposit stays as ipUSD until it settles. If yours is the one that pushes a round over its capacity, only the part that fits settles in that round, and the rest stays at the front of the line for the next round. Withdrawals IP Vault offers Standard Withdrawal and Instant Withdrawal. Availability and timing depend on liquidity and the fund’s settlement process. FAQ What are IP Vault shares? They represent a user’s position in IP Vault. Wallets and block explorers may display the share token as sIPUSD. The smart contracts have been audited by PeckShield. Can I sell my shares instead of withdrawing? Soneium Portal will not provide a market for IP Vault shares at launch. To exit, use Standard Withdrawal or Instant Withdrawal. Can I transfer my IP Vault shares? Yes. You can send IP Vault shares to another wallet. What is the minimum deposit? The minimum deposit is 100 ipUSD. What if my deposit doesn’t fully fit in a Round? The part that fits settles in that Round and you receive shares for it. The rest stays at the front of the queue for the next Round automatically. Is my ipUSD at risk after I deposit? Once a deposit settles into IP Vault and is converted into shares, its value is subject to changes in the Share Value. Before settlement, the deposit remains ipUSD and can be cancelled at any time before settlement. Get started ipUSD and IP Vault launch and become available on October 28, 2026, in the morning UTC: ipUSD.xyz . The ipUSD documentation explains the deposit Rounds and withdrawal process. For questions, visit the Soneium Discord IP Vault is not a deposit or savings product. The value of IP Vault shares can fall, and users may receive less than they deposited. This post is for informational purposes only and is not financial advice. Review the IP Vault terms on ipUSD.xyz before depositing. IP Vault is available to eligible users in supported jurisdictions. Unveiling Soneium: The Onchain Entertainment Economy
Soneium is building an onchain entertainment economy powered by Tokenized IP and plans to issue its ecosystem token, $SONEIUM. Soneium is the onchain entertainment economy, home to more than 250 applications across music, games, anime, film, collectibles and fan creations. As creators, IP owners, builders, fans and investors come to Soneium through Tokenized IP, the ecosystem needs one way to connect them all. To do that, Soneium plans to issue $SONEIUM, an ecosystem-native token designed to connect participants across the whole Soneium economy. Introducing Tokenized IP: IP That Compounds Tokenized IP brings intellectual property onchain, connecting creators and IP owners with new funding opportunities and the communities behind them. By opening access to the economic value generated by IP, it offers creators and IP owners new ways to fund projects and grow their properties alongside fans and investors. IP Token is one form of Tokenized IP. Each can represent an individual creator, a studio or a specific title, and may take the shape of a collectible or a fungible token. Collectibles act as proof of fandom and can be used across fan activities, while fungible tokens are designed to circulate as the main currency inside an IP’s economy. Moriusa is the first IP Token on Soneium. IP Vault, which gives access to royalty backed assets and entertainment investment opportunities, and Tokenized IP Bond, backed by entertainment businesses, follow. Soneium Portal is the official platform for Tokenized IP and the home for its discovery and participation. Startale App is the gateway to Soneium, where everyone can fund their journey into wider participation. This model launches with Moriusa, a popular character IP from Super State Holdings, the Tokyo-based entertainment group behind some of Japan's most popular creators. With Moriusa , fans and supporters can help bring the IP to new places, from physical merchandise and animated short series to broader licensing opportunities, and grow alongside it as it expands. Moriusa is the first in a broader set of entertainment investment opportunities that Soneium will bring under its new direction. Expanding this momentum into mainstream global music, Soneium has joined forces with DayOneDream , an established K-pop powerhouse and IP holder managing top artists, global concerts, and entertainment franchises including BTOB, LEE CHAE YEON, MEMI and 2F. Together, we are bringing concert business royalties from established K-pop artists onchain as Tokenized IP Bonds, giving fans and investors a new way to share in the value generated by live tours and entertainment IP. Onchain IP Architecture: Turning IP into Economic Infrastructure At the core of Soneium is a system that makes creative work programmable onchain. Think of it as three layers working together: IP Registry: When an IP is registered, it gets a permanent, timestamped record onchain, establishing origin, metadata and ownership. IP Graph: A map of how IPs relate to each other. Originals, derivatives, collaborations, fan creations and AI-assisted content, all connected and transparent. IP Execution Layer: Royalties, revenue splits and licensing payments are distributed through smart contracts, according to rules the IP owner defines. Together, these layers provide the foundation for connecting IP records and relationships with programmable licensing and revenue distribution. They also support the broader ecosystem in which creators, IP owners, applications and communities can participate in the economic activity surrounding entertainment IP. Soneium is also planning an adjustment to its base gas fee as part of its network economics. This is intended to support network resilience and sustainable onchain activity as the ecosystem grows. AI-Proofed: IP Infrastructure for the Generative Age As AI-assisted creation becomes more prevalent, clear information about an IP's origin, ownership and permitted use is increasingly important. Soneium supports ERC-8432 , an open Ethereum standard for onchain IP and licensing. It provides a common, machine-readable interface for registries and licenses, helping creators and platforms query licensing terms and verify rights. The Onchain IP Architecture can also help establish connections between original works and derivative or AI-assisted creations. The aim is to make IP rights and licensing information more accessible and programmable, while supporting creators as new forms of content emerge. These capabilities complement existing copyright frameworks rather than replacing them. $SONEIUM: The Currency of the Creator Economy We plan to issue $SONEIUM, its native ecosystem token, designed to align creators, IP owners, builders, fans and investors with the growth of the Soneium economy. Rather than existing as an isolated financial asset, $SONEIUM is designed as an economic layer connecting the ecosystem, from creators making new IP, to IP owners bringing IP onchain, to builders developing applications around it, to communities taking part in new experiences. Further details on $SONEIUM and its token generation event (TGE) will be announced at a later date. The Vision: Onchain Entertainment Where Emotions Bring Value Soneium aims to connect the passion people have for entertainment with new ways to create, fund and share value. For creators, this means new funding opportunities and programmable revenue. For IP owners, it means more ways to develop and commercialize their properties. For fans and investors, it means opportunities to participate in the communities and IP they believe in. $SONEIUM is intended to connect these participants within a shared onchain entertainment economy. "Entertainment starts with creators. Today, Soneium enters a new stage built to stand behind them. We will help them fund their next work at a new scale, try new forms of expression and find fresh ways to connect with fans. We want to open these possibilities together with creators, and I hope that from there, we will see entertainment that can change people and society." said Yuji Kumagai, Head of Soneium Protocol. Explore the Soneium vision paper to learn more about the Onchain IP Architecture, and join the community as Soneium builds the infrastructure for onchain entertainment. This announcement describes Soneium’s vision and plans, which may change. No $SONEIUM token has been issued, and nothing in this document constitutes an offer, solicitation or recommendation to acquire any token, security or other financial product in any jurisdiction. Any future token issuance by the Soneium Foundation will be subject to applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

Soneium and DayOneDream Partner to Bring K-Pop IP Onchain as Tokenized IPs
Soneium, the leading blockchain powering an onchain ecosystem for entertainment and IP, has partnered with DayOneDream , a renowned entertainment powerhouse behind K-pop artists, global concerts, and IP management, including BTOB, LEE CHAE YEON, MEMI, and 2F. The partnership combines DayOneDream's K-pop IP and entertainment expertise, delivered through its tokenization platform WAVIST , with Soneium's onchain infrastructure to unlock new ways to access, participate in, and enjoy value from the idol groups people love. At the center of the collaboration is WAVIST, DayOneDream’s K-pop IP tokenization platform, designed to connect entertainment IP with real-world financial infrastructure. In May, WAVIST completed the full lifecycle of a tokenized IP bond issued to finance K-pop IP, from issuance through final redemption and burning, demonstrating its ability to bring real-world entertainment assets into an end-to-end onchain framework. Together, Soneium and DayOneDream bring this capability into Soneium’s next era: combining a purpose-built entertainment blockchain, an expanding global ecosystem and institutional-grade tokenization expertise to explore how K-pop IP and its associated economic value can move onchain at scale. “K-pop is a market unlike any other, yet the way capital reaches it has barely changed. Our partnership with Soneium sits where RWA, IP, and K-pop meet, and it opens a real path to investing through the IP itself. With the world watching this industry, we intend to make it the most compelling product out there,” said Dylan Cho, RWA Lead at DayOneDream . Soneium and WAVIST will continue to bring tokenized K-content assets and their associated revenue streams onchain, giving eligible users new ways to access the IP they support while creating additional monetization opportunities for IP owners, subject to applicable regulatory and eligibility requirements. “Entertainment IP is one of the clearest opportunities for bringing real-world value onchain,” said Yuji Kumagai, Head of Soneium Protocol . “Soneium brings creators and IP owners who already have a strong following, like DayOneDream, together with the fans and investors who want to back them. Creators get a new way to raise funds for the work they want to make, and their supporters share in the value it creates, which helps the IP grow further. K-pop is a great place to start, and we will keep bringing more entertainment IP onto Soneium.” K-pop has grown into a major global cultural industry, but the financial value created remains largely accessed through traditional ownership and investment structures, leaving the millions of people who follow and support K-pop with few opportunities to participate in the economics behind the entertainment they love. Soneium and DayOneDream are among the early movers in opening up this opportunity. By bringing these assets onchain, fans and users get new ways to access and participate in the IP they already support. With partnerships such as DayOneDream bringing real-world entertainment assets into the ecosystem, Soneium is building the infrastructure and ecosystem for a new era of onchain IP, Beyond simple registry and attribution layers, Soneium opens direct, tangible economic pathways: enabling fans and investors to participate in premium, globally recognized entertainment IP, while giving creators the tools to raise capital and build alongside their audiences by leveraging the deep production experience, commercial pipelines, and global networks of its core contributors.

Soneium Supports ERC-8432: IP Licensing that People and AI Agents can Both Read.
Soneium is committed to advancing IP standardization, and intends to support the Onchain IP Asset and License Registry (ERC-8432) as one of the open standards in this area. AI agents can find a song, clip, or illustration and reuse it in seconds. Working out what they're allowed to do with it is harder: that information lives in contracts and platform databases, not in anything an agent can query. ERC-8432, an open standard posted to Ethereum Magicians on September 28th, proposes a common interface for this. Registries identify IP assets, publish machine-readable license terms, and record license agreements onchain. Soneium plans to support it, and we'd like builders to review the draft and help shape it. Standardizing Tokenized IP infrastructure is how we fix that for everyone using ERC-8432. What ERC-8432 does ERC-8432 gives independent registries one common interface to identify Tokenized IP assets, publish machine-readable license terms, and record and check license agreements onchain. It standardizes the mechanism, not legal rights or policy. Independent registries and flexible records. Anyone can run a registry, and registries work alongside each other without a central authority. Every record is addressed by (chainId, registry, id) , meaning the chain it lives on, the registry that holds it, and its ID within that registry, so any app or AI agent can locate it unambiguously across registries and chains. Assets and agreements don't have to be IP tokens, though binding to standard ERC-721 IP tokens is fully supported. Terms AI agents can read. Licensors publish reusable license terms alongside rights summaries that integrators and AI agents can parse efficiently. Programmatic agreements and verification. Applications check agreement status directly onchain, and built-in validation hooks enable dynamic permission checks. Modular composition. ERC-8432 interfaces cleanly with emerging primitives, such as ERC-8004 for agent identity and payment rails like x402, without imposing hard dependencies. Why this matters: IP rights don't travel with the work Who owns a song, what a remix may do with it, and what a licensee has already agreed to still live in contracts and platform databases. Every new use means finding a document and asking for permission. An AI agent cannot do that, it either finds digital rights or it moves on, and the creator gets nothing. The onchain entertainment economy needs rights that everyone can read, check, and settle. That is the gap ERC-8432 is designed to address. From ownership to permission Holding an IP token proves who owns it. It does not tell an AI agent, a game, or a remix app what it is allowed to do. Ownership lives onchain, permission still lives offchain. Tokenized IP only becomes a building block when its licensing rules are as queryable as the IP token, and that is what a shared licensing standard provides. Designed for real-world IP workflows Creative ecosystems involve multiple stakeholders, and ERC-8432 reflects that multi-party reality: The Creators and IP rights holders registers IP, attaches reusable license terms, and provides verifiable evidence or claims, without being locked into any single platform. The application or platform evaluates terms, confirms agreement status onchain, and references records across registries and chains. The AI agent discovers works, inspects terms, runs programmatic validation checks, and acquires agreements onchain without manual intervention. A rights holder registers a recording and attaches license terms. An AI agent making a video finds it, verifies it can use the recording via canLicense , and acquires an agreement in one transaction. The video app confirms the agreement onchain before using the track. Register once, license everywhere on Soneium A rights holder who registers Tokenized IP under a standard interface is discoverable by every catalog, marketplace, and AI agent that speaks it. A developer building on Soneium integrates once and works with every compliant registry. An agent needs no bespoke integration per platform. Every new registry, app, or agent makes the others more valuable, and nobody is locked in. That is the flywheel: more Tokenized IP, more builders on neutral primitives, more AI agents transacting, and more value flowing back to creators. Supporting ERC-8432 is one step in that direction; extensions for payments and royalty distribution are where the ecosystem grows next. As we bring IP onchain, we are also supporting open standards like ERC-8432. This keeps Tokenized IP infrastructure transparent, composable, and open to everyone.

Scouts, Guardians, and creators have helped build a real base of early participation, and many of you reading this came up through it. The Ambassador Program is what comes next. Soneium Community Program is where many people first join the community. The Ambassador Program is for people ready to go further: helping explain Soneium to new audiences, leading in their own region, and helping more users take real steps onchain rather than just hear about it. If you've been active through the Soneium Community Program this past year, we built this with you in mind. We'd love for you to apply. Why now We are entering a new phase. Soneium is growing rapidly, and with it comes a massive influx of mainstream creators, fans, and builders who are entirely new to Web3. They don't just need technical documentation, they need a community that speaks plain language, welcomes their passion, and helps them take their very first steps onchain. The Ambassador Program coordinates this effort globally. Right now that help is scattered and informal. The Ambassador Program gives it a home, a recognized role, closer access to team updates and resources, and the backing to make a real dent in your community. As more users and experiences enter the ecosystem, the community will help carry it. Who we're looking for People who can explain what Soneium is building and make it easier for others to get involved. A big following isn't the point. We care far more about whether your contributions are good, whether you're reliable, how you communicate, and how well you look after the people around you. Past and present Soneium Community Program participants are strongly encouraged to apply. If you've already shown up for this community, we want to hear from you. While this is a global call to action, we are placing a strategic focus on key regions driving the intersection of technology, culture, and entertainment, specifically the United States, Japan, Korea, and China. Wherever you are based, if you understand your local community and want to lead, we want to hear from you. What Ambassadors do The common thread is helping people take a real step with Soneium, not just learn the name. Depending on your strengths, that might mean: - Onboarding new users and walking them through their first onchain moves - Holding down the community: answering questions, welcoming newcomers, keeping things healthy - Hosting meetups (online and offline) and growing Soneium where you live - Helping users find their way around the apps building on Soneium - Supporting the builders shipping on Soneium You won't do all of it. Most Ambassadors lean into one or two of these and go deep. What you get A recognized voice within the Soneium community. Ambassadors may receive: - Recognition across Soneium channels and real visibility for the work you do - Access to program updates, resources, and team touchpoints - Support for approved community activations, events, and content - Soneium merch, swag, or other community rewards when available - Opportunities to grow into larger community roles over time How it works You apply. We review each application based on your background, your history with Soneium, your community experience, where you're based, your availability, and overall fit. Some applicants may receive a short follow-up so we can understand how they would approach a first Soneium activation and the kind of audience they can realistically reach. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection, but it helps us see who may be ready to take the next step. Ambassador status is earned over time through contribution, consistency, and community trust. That is what makes it meaningful. Apply now If you want a hand in how the world finds Soneium, come talk to us and be part of the Soneium Ambassador Program _Participation note: Soneium Ambassadors are community contributors. They are not employees, agents, or official representatives of Sony or Soneium unless explicitly authorized. Ambassadors should not make unofficial claims about Soneium, Sony, rewards, tokens, partnerships, or future plans._

Soneium Score: Twelve Seasons, One Community
Twelve seasons. That's where the climb ends, at least this chapter of it. When Soneium Score launched, the idea was simple: what you do onchain matters. Over the past year, this community proved it. Season after season, you showed up, completed quests, explored new projects, and built onchain reputations that live permanently on your wallets. Today, Soneium Score officially wraps its final season. But your journey on Soneium is far from over. In fact, everything you have built over the last 12 seasons has been leading to what comes next. Twelve seasons by the numbers The scale of what this community built together: 720,000+ participations across the seasons, peaking at nearly 90,000 participants in a single season 70+ projects integrated across the program, from DeFi protocols and bridges to games, NFT platforms, and daily onchain rituals Every quest completed, every streak maintained, every badge minted. It all counts. It is all permanently recorded onchain. Thank you First, to every participant: thank you. You turned a 28-day scoring cycle into a habit, then into a community. Whether you joined in Season 1 or discovered the program in Season 12, you made this what it was. And to the builders: none of this works without you. Across twelve seasons, projects from every corner of the ecosystem, gaming, DeFi, NFTs, daily onchain rituals, opened their doors to the Score community and gave participants real reasons to engage. You brought entertainment onchain and made every season feel new. Season 12 SBT badge: The final mint One last badge to claim. Score 80 or above in Season 12 and you'll earn the Season 12 Soulbound Token (SBT) badge, non-transferable, permanently tied to your wallet, and proof you showed up for the final season. Two-stage minting process: Stage 1: Scores 84 - 100, minting opens first and runs for two weeks. Stage 2: Scores 80 - 83, opens once Stage 1 wraps up. Both stages mint the identical Season 12 badge. The staged approach ensures a smooth experience for all qualified participants. Keep an eye on the Soneium Portal for minting dates. The Score Wraps. Stay Tuned. Soneium Score is wrapping, but the mission behind it is accelerating. Soneium Score proved two things: onchain activity builds real reputation, and communities grow stronger when builders and users win together. This proof is driving exactly what we build next. Your twelve seasons of hard work, loyalty, and accumulated badges are not just memories. So, keep your badges close. The ultimate climb continues.
